Hey community!
We build a simple local running html website which starts, stops and resets a countdown. We control the 3 instances with the keys "a" "b" and "c" inside the browser (browser input in vmix). We wanted to use shortcuts / scripts inside vMix with the "KeyPress" Function: Function=KeyPress&Value=a
Unfortunately it seems that this function gets disabled when you activate "Keyboard Enabled" in the browser input.
We already build the workaround with vicreo to send a key via companion. We're just curious wether we're missing something here or going the wrong direction.
TL:DR: We wanted to use the companion function "script start" to start a local script in a vmix instance with the simple function "KeyPress" but it seems that function is disabled when you have a browsersource with "Keyboard Enabled" in that vmix instance.
Thanks for your help / advice!
Jarmo

Jarmo Look at the X-Keys line of supplemental keyboards. Those can be set up to send Midi notes to vMix where you can use an Activator to start a script. I have one with 64 keys which I use to start up to 14 MP3 players or five video players. We have five cameras and with screens in the front and read of the auditorium I can use it to control which camera shows on which screen or a video on both or just the rear screen plus of course which camera or video is going out to the live stream. The only drawback is that with that system my "Preview" is almost always a "Post-view".
