I've been trying to setup my production to use Canon Log 3 but the image Im getting doesn't look quite right. The "Flat" Log look doesn't seem as flat as it should, and when I try to apply a LUT the colors look compressed.
My production is using Canon CR-N500's running SDI out to a BlackMagic Design Decklink 8K

Has anyone else seen any issues, or is there something Im missing?

vMix still does not support 10 bit video (vMix 29). Could that be it?

I use the N700 over NDI. Super solid. Maybe an option for you as well.

I’ve tried using NDI but I’ve never been able to get stable latency out of it. Are you able to get a proper LOG signal from it too?
