We are running a podcast where every Monday we discuss different video clips.
The main issue is that every Monday we import every single clip (up to 30 ) ... We have a naming convention like this
V01 Description video 1.mp4
V02 Description video 2.mp4
V03 Description video 3.mp4
V04 Description video 4.mp4
...
After dragging and dropping them into VMIX, we edit about 30 video inputs in VMIX, adding them to layer 2 (on layer 1 is background)

they are all different lengths, sizes and etc...

Next week, we basically need to repeat the whole workflow.

Is there any automation, like a watch folder, where we can drag and drop files and Vmix reads the first three letters from the file name and adds them to the appropriate input?

I have just checked the list input...
I can not make triggers, and also my video files are in different resolutions, so I need to resize them.... Also i can not connect it latter to midi pad and call video no7 by it.

I know that I can do that ... but every time we use different descriptions for files, this is an example from a couple of weeks ago

As u can see, we need to parse first three letters somehow with Vmix .. ok i can make batch file for renaming all the files but i am trying to make it as much as possible with Vmix
