OSC control of Zoom Inputs?

When are we going to be able to assign participants to a Zoom Input in vMix via companion? Its a giant miss that makes the integrated Zoom functionality very difficult to manage without it.
Has anyone been able to do this via scripting without OSC control?

Has anyone been able to do this via scripting without OSC control? Can you not do this with the Select Participant by Name function? I haven't tried it, but it seems like that's what it would be for.  image (1).png (20kb) downloaded 26 time(s).

Yeah I just tested it. As long as you have their name exactly as it is in Zoom it works. That name can come as a variable, but you still need to preset something ahead of time to make it work, unless you just type the name in directly to Companion. It doesn't look like you can get names from Zoom directly, but you can assign them if you know their names.

I have a Feature Request here, dating back to when the Zoom functionality was first released: https://forums.vmix.com/...Source-option#post114002For whatever reason, people don't seem to bother to search, so it's been buried by multiple similar (or outright identical) requests, which generally defeats the entire purpose of allowing the dev team to track request popularity. And until that's implemented, there are workarounds, depending on how one manages their meetings. ZoomOSC was a popular one. It's now Mac only, but if one has a Mac, it's probably a great option. I personally don't have a Mac, so while I wait to see if the new version of ZoomOSC that was announced to come out later this year brings back Windows support, I use Make.com to write the name of every person who joins the Zoom meeting to a Google Sheet. That data can then be accessed through vMix Data Sources or the Companion Google Sheets module. It can then be automated through vMix Scripting (scripts for which I've posted in the "Scripting for Dummies" thread) or Companion to automatically or manually assign participants to Zoom inputs.
