Regarding the Gigabyte MW83-RP0 motherboard from the Top Recommended Reference.


I've re-reviewed the specifications of this motherboard, and it's not at all recommended for vMix. Main points:


- Very poor heat dissipation from the motherboard's VRMs.

- The two M.2 drives depend on the motherboard's chipset. Therefore, there may be higher latency and bus saturation due to shared bandwidth.


These two reasons are very important to directly rule out this motherboard.

Gigabyte MW83-RP0 and Asus Pro WS W790 use the CPU lanes only on the PCIe slots.

Given that most capture cards are x8, the ASRock is best
