I am currently preparing a new show series in which several guests will be connected via Zoom. The virtual set of the show will be rendered in an external system and the guests will be displayed there in their own virtual areas (see example image with one remote guest).
Since vMix (even in version 29) only supports four NDI outputs, I am looking for a way to get multiple guests into the renderer via NDI. If possible, I would like to avoid using a solution from another manufacturer, as this would make the setup more complex (e.g., different latencies, more complex audio routing, etc.). My first thought was to use one or more PCs with vMix, which in turn are connected to Zoom and provide additional NDI streams. The audio and guests in full-screen mode are processed by the primary vMix instance.

- Has anyone tried this before?
- Does the Zoom API even allow this?

I am open to further suggestions that ensure a clean and stable setup.

Thanks in advance to the community!

That leaves only three outputs. I usually use a second output as a studio monitor (mix), which I can use to show the presenter all the necessary information. That would leave only two.

Or am I overlooking a function somewhere?
I know that vMix Call can provide multiple outputs, but experience has shown that our guests often couldn't handle this solution.
