It seems every video player (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) has a video playback speed option, and none of them change the pitch of the audio and make the voices sound like chipmunks. The vMix playback rate implementation should change to match what is commonly found in every other environment. It is currently unusable for making reaction videos where we need to play the video at 1.5x or 2x speed.

Not sure if having a pitch shifter is something that vmix would want to have seeing it's not a video\audio editor. maybe their is a VS3 type of plugin that will allow you to change the pitch of the audio so you can remove that high pitch voice when speeding up. ?

I would just like the video speed control to work like it does on sites like YouTube, where it doesn't distort the audio. Having to fix the audio via a plugin seems clunky and would make it more difficult to change the playback rate on-demand.
