Neither "OMTPreviewOn" nor "OMTPreviewOff" are documented in the Shortcut Function Reference and I can't figure out what they do.

From the Shortcuts and Triggers menus, I can surmise that they modify an input in some capacity but I can't figure out how, as testing them on an OMT input doesn't seem to actually do anything.

This is intentional, as these are not intended for public use at this time.
For what they do, they change the resolution of the OMT input to preview mode as per the right click menu, so you should see the quality change when using these.
