Hi,
It would be great, and I haven't seen anyone requesting it, to use the web remote control to change settings of your project. When live or rehearsing, UI is used to mix your output, but simultaneously you may need to change settings:
- Change audio delays - Enable/disable streams - Change YouTube, NDI, SRT settings...
When things go wrong or new requriements come, you cannot stop your live event to change settings. It would be much better to use the remote web interface.
And the icing on the cake would be to control vMix calls. Sometimes users mute mics or shut down cameras by accident. You prepare the call, everythingis fine (so browser gave permissions) but then they muted by accident. It would be great to be able to unmute from that remote control panel. Seen this very often and it would be so easy if it could be remote controlled.

Have you taken a look at the multiviewer. It offers you shortcuts. It could be a bit more into what you are looking for.

Been already told by support that there is no option to currently do this, so they suggested posting here.
Your option lets you do some stuff, but not adjusting delays, audio levels, etc, plus it can interfere with video switching.
I beleive it would be great to have an engineering-only remote control. Just like you do with hardware mixers, CCUs and video routers. You setup stuff without interfering operation.

vMix receives commands via API Functions (which also take the form of "shortcuts") and sends information via the API XML. That's simply how it's built. How you use them that functionality is entirely up to you. I think you'd have a lot better luck requesting what you want added to those mechanisms than asking for a complete overhaul to that system. For example, this: Originally Posted by: Sergi audio levels already exists. The API provides real-time information on where the meters are and accepts commands to adjust the faders. If you want a hardware device that gives you that information and allows you to make those adjustments, you have options, right now, for things you can buy and install that will do just that. And I'm aware of existing feature requests for at least some of the other things you named. And once those things are added--I would, again, recommend throwing your support behind those existing feature requests and making yours more specific to missing elements that you want to see that aren't yet requested--you can then add those to already existing options.
