Hello, we're recording and live streaming via Vmix. It runs smoothly for a while, then suddenly shuts down without warning. This isn't always consistent; sometimes it runs for 2-3 hours without any problems, and sometimes it shuts down in half an hour. I thought it sometimes did it when Chrome was open, but it also does it when Chrome is closed.

Do you have a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU? If so, here's a diagnostic tool to test if your CPU is affected:

Do you have NDI sources in the project?

We have seen this with Birddog and other NDI devices.

Second searching for NDI sources. FFMPEG (which vMix runs on) can't handle corrupt NDI frames and will CTD with no warning or error if it gets passed corrupt data.

If you have NDI sources, you can use FEIM (Faulty Encoder Isolation Mode) when you set up an input to generate a log after a crash which will help you figure out which NDI source(s) is the culprit.
