After creating a virtual set with many inputs (screens, cameras etc.) I would like a function to be able to easily lock and unlock an input so it cant be moved easily when a mouse glides over the preview or output window and touches something. Could be on the tile so by glancing at it you know it's locked and wont move or change by accident. Very handy for live productions with many people working on them. padlock idea.png (78kb) downloaded 32 time(s).

Same here, this is required because vmix doesn't or can't properly update scripts with input numbers, especially dynamic inputs. Just a lock all in place would be useful and any new input just goes at the end.

The KEY field is unique for each input and doesn't change if the input get moved to a different number or even the Name of the input is changed. Only if an input is deleted and then added back would the Key change.

Where do you see this key field? Is it new? I'm on the latest and I don't see KEY field in the input settings, general or advanced.
