I've got a number of vMix machines and wondered if there's any issue with them that might result in the renderer dropping frames on external outs.
Threadripper 3945WX / 128GB / 3080 (haven't enabled rebar, High performance mode) GPU Mem <20%, low render times, 85C GPU temp
9800X3D / 5080 / 32GB / X870E ROG (rebar enabled, high performance disabled) GPU Mem <5%, low render times, <40C GPU temp
5800X3D / 4070S / 32GB / X570 ProArt (rebar enabled, high performance disabled) GPU Mem <5%, low render times, <40C GPU temp
Nvidia high power, windows graphics high performance, windows power high performance. Up to date drivers (Nvidia, Chipset, BMD)
I've not updated the BIOS on any of these... (The P620 could do with an update so I can enable rebar), the other boards are newer but not sure if that will help.
I have BMD duo cards in these...
25p project 2x inputs @ 25p replay channels A&B mapped tout 2x outputs @ 25p (just inputs 1&2 delayed 30mins)
Sources don't seem to drop frames but the renderer does.
I haven't referenced the BMD cards... is this likely to prevent dropped frames?
Any suggestions would be GREAT!

UPDATE:
I updated the Bios on the Threadripper machine and rebar is now enabled, GPU memory is @ 1%
Experiencing 0 source dropped frames, but still a handful of renderer dropped frames.
That said, I had the record train drop about 7seconds of recording - this then appeared in the record 30minutes later. (DIdn't notice as it the input would have been on a freeze and I'm monitoring a number of vMix machines)
GPU is @ 67% and might have been 65% in the first post (am quite far from the screen and obviously have great eyesight!)
****
Updated the bios on the X870E motherboard and still experiencing source dropped frames & renderer dropped frames.
Running version 15 of BMD Desktop Video
Running 28.0.0.43 vMix software
****
A fellow vMix nerd contacted me to say he'd also experienced a similar drop to the Threadripper machine, but was across both the BMD inputs and BMD outputs (Decklink Quad 2)

Probably a problem with the CPU lane distribution on the motherboards.
The problem with pre-assembled workstations like the P620 is that we don't know the motherboard reference number installed inside, and therefore the CPU lanes distribution.
Which motherboard for Threadripper 3945WX?
If you're using BMD Duo cards, they aren't all on PCIe CPU lanes on x870e and x570 motherboards.
x870e rog = x870e-e gaming or x870e crosshair?
You'd need motherboard = GPU (x8) / Duo 1 (x4) / Duo 2 (x4) on these motherboards.
This may explain the dropped frames.
On the ProArt x570 machine, test this configuration to see if it improves.
PCIe 1 = GPU PCIe 2 = BMD Duo M2.1 = Windows M2.2 = BMD Duo via M2 to PCIe x4 riser M2.3 = SSD Rec Replay
