Hi!
While testing version 29 of the software, an unexpected behavior was observed with Overlays on the Mix Inputs.
Specifically: Overlays continue to appear on the Output Fullscreen, NDI/OMT (cannot confirm External Output or SRT streams with my current setup), even after they have been explicitly deselected via the Overlays dropdown menu in Settings > Outputs/NDI/OMT/SRT > Overlays.
The issue manifests when the output source is configured to use: One of the Mix inputs (Mix2 to Mix16) or, when selecting the Input number directly from the Mix. This leads to unintended overlay inclusion in the final output.
When the source is set to Output or Mix1, the overlays respect the deselection and do not appear on the output.

That's what I would expect to happen, given the behavior prior to the expansion of Overlays to Mix inputs.
That setting has only ever impacted the Program Output.
If you set an Output to reflect Mix 2, rather than the Program Output, then set an Overlay to appear on Mix 2, I wouldn't expect that setting to do anything to negate that.

I checked the documentation, and you are right, it says that it only works if the source is set to Output. So, my bad. Quote:Overlays
If the Source option set to "Output" the Overlay check boxes can be used to customise which overlays are displayed on that particular Output.
For example, a "clean feed" can be set for the recording with all overlays turned off, while all the overlays can be retained on Fullscreen. Is this a feature request then? I mean, if the option to deselect Overlay channels exists, no Overlay should play, including on Mix2 through Mix16.

The overlays in Settings -> Outputs can only control the Output 1-4 where the are set to Output. This is because Output 1-4 are separately rendered outputs where there is independent control for each version of "Output".
This is not possible if you select a Mix instead, as the Mix input is already rendered in advance with the overlays it has.
