It would be great to have a way to secure entry into the scripting environment. Password or some other method?

I worry that a user could inadvertently get into a script and alter it which could entirely ruin a program that uses scripting extensively.

Thank you,

I'm genuinely curious how one would inadvertently navigate to the scripting pane, open a script, change it, then click the script save button.

Not so much during a production (although) but what def happens is people ask for a script(VB) ,they then mess around with it thinking they figured it out and claim its not working anymore (one character in the wrong place can do lot of damage)

Is why mine are all external now (not talking about just a stack of function)

Just assume a user would get into it out of curiosity or potentially with malicious intentions. Who knows. But in any case it's a point of failure that could be easily avoided if there were some protection.

In addition, it's a way to protect for paid work being misappropriated.

Thanks for serious consideration.
