Hello all, this is my first time on the forum.
I realize I am not using vMix to the same extent as many, but just prefer to record virtual interviews using the platform (no live aspect).

I've been struggling with the last couple of times I've tried to welcome guests into a vMix call. Perhaps I am missing something obvious?
I provide my guest with the link to advanced.vmixcall.com along with the password. When they try to enter, I can see their attempt on the call manager. But the very same second it says "caller has made initial contact", it is immediately followed by "Call Disconnected". Meanwhile, my guest believes that they are on the call, because they can see the camera preview of themself. But they aren't actually on, and cannot see anything from my Send to Presenter.

When I test the line by logging in with their passwords both before and after the scheduled call, everything works fine. What more can I do to get my guests in?

i always go to the advanced site myself, enter the credentials and make sure it connects. then i copy the browser address link and send that to my guest. they only need one click to enter. connection issues are frequently browser related (try to get them to use chrome) or very seldomly a firewall restriction on their end. ask them to try the link on their phone, using a cellular connection bypasses their local internet. if that works it narrows down the problem to the internet/firewall on their other computer.

make sure you use one link/password per guest. 3 guest require 3 call inputs. As an example.

Thanks very much for responding Mavik, though that isn't the issue for me.

I usually do ask them if they're using Chrome. And I alway check the link myself before the scheduled time, with no problems. But I'll trying asking them to connect via phone to see if I have better success, thanks.

This sounds a bit like firewall or antivirus issue in a client restricted network. So your side is maybe fine but the caller is very likely in a restricted network. Ask them to go off VPN or use a home office network. This could increase the chance of success
