Hello again, After more than 10 years of faithful service, my original vMIX PC has died. After watching the " Best vMix laptop for 2025/26. Multi-cam live streaming!" video, I pulled the trigger and ordered the ASUS TUF Gaming F16. I also ordered a " OWC Mercury Helios 3S Thunderbolt 3 PCIe Expansion Solution" so that I could reuse my Magewell XI400DE-SDI PCI Express Video Capture Card. I added the capture card to the expansion bay, and plugged it into the laptop via the TB4 port. Windows recognized the capture card. I installed the x64 version of the XI400DE-SDI driver (I save driver downloads for times like these), and the capture card moved from Unknown Devices to Sound, Video, and Game Controllers. Once the capture card is plugged in, after clicking on the vMin shortcut, I see the splash screen, and then nothing else. If I click on the splash screen windows offers to allow me to stop the program. If I don't click on it, the laptop will sit in that state for 10+ minutes. I'm forced to use task manager to stop vMix. How can I troubleshoot this issue? Is there a log that I can enable in vMix that may report what it sees as the issue? Thanks in advance, Tracy

For anyone that might be following along, I've decided to pull the trigger on a new Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2 that will replace the aged Magwell card. The Drivers for the XI400DE-SDI were last updated in 2012, so it was a bit dicey if they were going to work under windows 11. The vMIX video I referenced in my last post said they used it to bring in 4x SDI inputs with it. I only need 1080, so this card should work just fine. Once it comes in, I'll update this thread again. In the mean time, I would LOVE to be able to enable logging that might help me understand what's really going on with the vMIX freezing while loading. Would appreciate any assist I can get with troubleshooting that. Thanks, Tracy
