Hey all! Just wanted to share something I built for our live translation setup.

We often use vMix Call for remote translators, and I needed a way to automatically lower the stream volume when the translator speaks, and bring it back up when they're silent. So I built a small local tool in Python that reads vMix's audio meters via the API and adjusts volume in real time.

You can check it out here: vMix Automatic Audio Mixer (useful for translators)

Thank you for reading my thread!
