Hi guys. This is a simple question about opening saved Presets. I looked for the answer but couldn't find anythning definitive, apologies if I missed something obvious.
When opening a preset, does it matter if the preset was saved in an older version? (i.e. opening a v12 preset in v13 or v14 preview?)
Or is it best practice to re-create your show preset IN the new vMix when a new version is released?
Your advice is much appreciated! Thanks!!

I can't speak for vmix specifically. However in my IT job I find that most applications support at least 1 version back. Sometimes only 1 version. I find it a good rule of thumb to always open and resave all files when updating software to prevent incompatible settings 2 or 4 versions later.
