Hello all
We use NDI with Teams a lot to bring in remote speakers for livestreams or on-site participation. For the mixing we use Vmix.
It runs pretty stable but lately we have some issues where NDI streams only have a black screen and audio. Also in NDI monitor this is the case.
Any ideas on where is issue might lie ?
In the past I already when trough the NDI best-practices such as private network, 1G connection on the ethernet port, no sleep or eco modus etc...
Thanks a lot !

Have you restarted Teams. Sometimes it happens at my end that teams freezes or stalls. Closing teams from the task menu buttom right and starting again helps.

Yes, I have tried the famous "have you tried turning it on and off again' method.
NDI Screencapture does work fine on the same laptop so I think it is some kind of Teams issue...

Your Teams administrator does need to allow this on account level.

I dont have any admin teams! And i assume that this type of account is not free? So MS simply f... us because it is MS and it can do it? Also i see now that while skype videocalls were free no matter the duration, the free Teams is only 1 hour!!! Un-fortunatelly MS is bullshit as always

Un-fortunatelly MS is bullshit as always Went thru this last week myself, you will need a new Teams Business account to act as Administrator (the Teams free login won't work on Business BTW), as only those accounts can enable NDI for your team. Took me good part of an afternoon to get it to work.
