I'm new to the forum, and new to vMix. I'm a volunteer for our church's tech team and wanting to ask what is the best way (or if there is a way) to create a Playlist or Sequence of live camera shots only. Our service is very, very predictable usually, we have three remote fixed cameras - and during the coarse of the service, the camera shots don't vary too much. Last week I counted maybe 20 different shots in total.

Thank you for the helpful introduction to the Playlist feature. Expanding on what you showed here, is it possible to have several DIFFERENT camera angles as 'presets' and then drag/drop those into a Playlist? Going back to my original question - we have the 3 cameras, and just a few different angles we can shoot from with each camera because of their location. Since our 'show' is usually handled by only one person I'm thinking these shots could be stored in a library and named, and pulled up as needed. We very rarely vear from the three camera input - I've been there two years and I don't recall ever seeing a video.

you can do differect camera angles-positions and then add them in a playlist

I think this is going to help quite a bit in our situation especially for storing static shots.

Is it also possible to store camera MOVES as presets?
Also, (hopefully my last question) - can these presets be programmed to be sent to the standby window in our live environment rather going live?
The purpose of this is to get a catalog of our most used shots with only one volunteer who runs the live stream in mind.
Thank you for these helpful tips.

im not sure that i can fully understand what you ask. You can save any vmix "project"-changes-inputs you make in any preset and then open it when you need it or append it into another preset
For the preview thing. You mean if this is possible to be done, when we load a Playlist and start plays instead of going into pgm to go into prv? So the operator choose if this camera move will go into program?
Can you explain a little more the "catalog" you need?

I noticed that in the last example video you sent, you could store a playlist of static remote camera positions. But as you went to program with them, they ran the potentional of showing movement from the last position they happen to have been in. In my case, I'm wanting to save certain camera moves (which could include zoom ins/outs, pans, etc), since we have a finite set of targets in our church during our stream (i.e. lectern, choir, pipe organ, etc). So instead of having to reset these manually over and over, have them saved as presets - available for preview (so the camera gets into place), and then I can move to program when called for.

Ok, if I understand correctly, you want to set up some static camera positions, and when you click on that input, you'd like it to instantly switch to the saved position without performing the pan/tilt/zoom animation from wherever the camera currently is? I'm not sure if that's possible — to go there directly without the “traveling” animation.
Α way to do this,is not use the ptz function, but right click in the actual camera input in the cog icon and use "create virtual input". Then in the virtual input, you can manually use the position tab,to zoom/move your camera. This will be static position and it will stay there always and you loose the (which could include zoom ins/outs, pans, etc). Maybe the virtualset function that the program has, fits you better.

I don't have a PTZ camera myself, so I'm trying to understand exactly what you're trying to achieve, using a regular camera and the virtual PTZ feature in vMix. From what I see, every time we save a new camera move, it creates a new vMix input. These are stored within the vMix preset you're currently using, and the icons in vMix visually represent the position that each move focuses on.

You can also use Multiview if you like — for example, for today (April 6). Then next Sunday (April 13), if you open a new vMix preset, you can still go to Open → Append and bring in any of the moves you saved today, if you want to reuse them.
