I have a script that is essentially pulling data together and giving me a few data sources. The text data is updating fantastically - as I knew it would. But the script is also generating audio files that are being dynamically created and played via vMix API. It's replacing the file to do this. I'm happy to code a workaround to replace an input in vMix if that would work better but I'm not sure what the best route to accomplish this is. It'd be easiest if there was an API call to just "reload" the source but I don't believe there is.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm leaving this thread up for future people - but what I ended up doing is having a playlist input and just clearing the playlist and then adding an audio file to the list and pressing play. This has the desired effect.
