Hello!

So I am currently managing a small corporate studio that has a large 28x10 foot LED video wall. We use this wall during corporate events to have animated backgrounds, logos come in, play videos and PowerPoint files (repositioned on the wall in windows), and Zoom guests.

We are also cutting a live show that is either going live to type and/or live streaming (cutting between cameras and all sources).
Here is the question...we currently use OBS, we cut the show on OBS (all devices are NDI) and we sent that out to a livestream or to the recorder, but in OBS we can also designate one scene to project to an external monitor, which we routed to the wall. So we can completely cut a show and any changes we make in that one particular scene will control what the wall displays.

So I have hotkey set up on a Stream deck, and when I push the PPT button, a window comes up on the wall that has the PowerPoint file. We keep it picture-in-picture on the wall because the speakers will often want it in different places, and the screen is far too large (and too wide of an aspect ratio) to make the presentation full screen.

But on all our live to tape/live streams, we make sources full screen.

Is there a way to do this same thing with VMix? Cut our full show for the stream/record, but have a separate feed that goes to the wall? I know there is the Mix Input feature, but that seems super basic and only cuts to a few sources.

I need VMix to also send out an external feed to the video wall that has it's own separate controls, almost like an entirely different show that can show the same sources but be formatted differently.

Is this possible with VMix?

Thank you in advance!

The short answer is yes, that should be possible with vMix.
These videos might help to provide some insight on how to accomplish that:
