Lets hit the spec's of the laptop first.
ASUS G14 GA402 Ryzen 9 6900HS 40G RAM - Radeon RX 6800S/8G - Samsung 990 pro m.2 2T Drive

We have tried everything I can think of and hope you all have good idea what to look for.

1 - When hitting the record button I keep getting the (!) see photo-3 has not been a issue other then bugging me.

2. Input Video issues got to be a video driver issue, Under the task manager VMix is using 100% CPU when playing or recording a input/video clip see (photo-2) running the same video in VLC on the same laptop with NDI we hit 2%-15% CPU see (Photo-1)

3. I tried using the VLC plug in witch I thought would work great but I am missing something because after setting the VLC stream/capture Device/Video & Audio to vmix and I then loading the video clips I wanted to use, I then started up VMix selecting input/stream/vlc (failed)

I couldn't attach the photo's so hope its ok to share my drive for the photo's

Hello. You have the message "cpu overloaded" because your AMD Gpu is not supported from vmix to do what it have to do,so your cpu stress out. Even in paper specs "AMD specified the performance between the low power variants of the RTX 3070 (80-100W) and RTX 3080 (80-100W, former Max-Q)." this gpu seems great vmix is not by factory made to do encode with amd gpu chips,so un-fortunatelly you have problem that cannot be solved easy. Maybe vmix support can give you a solution
