I work in a school and we use vMix to stream our school board meetings to YouTube. It works perfectly every time. I love it.

That said, we have a town meeting being held at our school and they're having me stream it for them with our equipment to the platform that they use (TownHallStreams.com). They gave me the RTMP URL, stream name, username & password to do a test and it appeared to connect fine on our end. A support person from the site looked at the stream and told me they saw no data being sent to them. I verified the information that he sent and everything was correct. They had me do a test with OBS and it worked.

What could OBS be doing differently than vMix to have the stream show up on their end? They said that as long as it could use a custom RTMP server, we shouldn't have a problem using any streaming software.
