Hello,

I want post my little project with my opinion about powerful software vMix. Project scheme was very simple:

Before start i want to thanks Martin for help about Bob Deinterlacing. Powerful and work great.

In live tree days vMix work perfectly. No bugs no crash no program don't responding :)))))
Screen perfectly work when choose correct resolution. Screen was 4x3 with letterbox (project 16x9).
Sound great but for me need audio meter with numbers. For example there is 0 -3 -9 -12 value.
Stream to youtube was HD quality. First day 3000 video bit rates other two days 4500.
Bee careful with background music copyrights because youtube stream can by stopped and it is not possible to continue... (Trust me, this was twice but not in concert) :))))))
Day 1:

Video quality not powerful but sound great. My mistake - the sound level is too low. :))))))
Day 2:

Raise up bit ratio from 3000 to 4500. Good for quality but stream skip some information then listen record. For example time in record: 1:04:20; 1:11:32; 1:14:34; 1:18:04 and so on... Maybe someone has an idea why this happened?
Day 3:

Same setup like day 2.

!!!!Master mix record!!!!
This is my problem and headache. Dropped Frames. How to fix this problem? Festival was recorded in one of two same Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5. Then i saw in log files some skip frames i change HDD but same problem. Day 1 and Day 2 writing in same HDD Day 3 change. There is log and media info files with overall bit rate:
Day 1:

Day 2:

Day 3:
https://www.dropbox.com/...ADwFY06voCR5p4NMPz5eQPVa
Today i create with two same HDD Raid0 disk. And test result with Raid0 speed is there:

Hi Arturas,

The version of vMix you are using is very old (11.0.0.63) and there have been many updates and improvements since then.
I would recommend downloading the latest version from the Download page on our web site.

Regards,

Martin

I had a similar problem...... my solution was to record on a different drive to the system drive, and, record in Mp2...I find that .avi dropped frames occasionally, plus it took up a lot of my Hard drive space......
