Hi,
This is a tip for successfully using the shortcut function 'ZoomSelectParticipantByName' with a participant that has been renamed in the meeting. Basically, you need to use the original name and not the new name.

Not sure if this is by design.

For our guests, we rename then by placing '#' in front of their name. This ensures that they appear after Hosts/Co-hosts in the Zoom Participant window. This follows the Zoom guidance:

Most of our production is automated but this is our backup in case manual intervention is required.

It is.

Or, rather, it's a side effect of how it's designed.

That's exactly why I disabled the ability for participants to be renamed in all the meetings I host.
