Is it okay to install Stream Deck 6.0 with vMix? Is the Stream Deck Plus compatible with vMix 25?

Watch the vMix Fun Time Live Show, 14:19 into the show. Martin and Tim mention it.

Thanks. I should have mentioned that did see that. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it and what were the results.

Now with V27 officially released can anybody guide me in how to make use of the touch and dials, please.
For example use a dial for PTZ control. How to differentiate between the left and right rotation and speed. I see in the find section in the shortcuts that there are positive and negative numbers and the numbers increase the faster you turn the dial. But how to put this into shortcuts and stop the movement for instance.

I have just finished preparing my first stream deck plus preset for the Vmix.
It is pretty straightforward you turn the knob and select a function with set at the beginning and it should do everything correctly.
If you want to set a click on the screen or a click on the knob you need to do that separately.

Things that didn't work:
  1. "nexttitlepreset" is not controlled by turning the knob, for some reason it is not recognizable by vinix.

  2. Adding colors to the screen above the knob is not possible because the display>color option only appears when turning the knob and then it doesn't show on the screen. when tapping the screen the display>color option does not exist.(i used an activator workaround)

  3. Fade and Merge is not controlable by knob.

My preset Now controls CCU RGB, MasterVolume & Individual gain control.
"nexttitlepreset" is (Hopefully temporary) controled by clicking the nubb.

vMix's PTZ control isn't "Turn left as long as I'm telling you to turn left, then stop".

It's "Turn left now and keep doing so until I tell you to stop".

Whatever you use needs to be able to send a specific stop command--simply stopping itself isn't enough.

With a normal Stream Deck, you can pair a "Button Up" command with a "Button Down" command.

With a joystick, you can use the stick's return or movement to center.

With something like this or a MIDI knob, it likely won't work, because no longer saying "Move left" isn't the same as saying "Stop moving" & there's no way to program a shortcut to fire when the dial or knob stops moving.

The mechanism through which vMix offers a manual control of transitions is the T-Bar.

The T-Bar is controlled with the shortcuts "SetFader" (to adjust the position of the T-Bar) and "SetTransitionEffect1" (to set which transition effect is used by the T-Bar).
