Hello,

We stream every Sunday using VMix v26 to Restream which then distributes the stream to Youtube, Online Churh, Facebook and our website, GGCOGIC.org.

Yesterday we started the stream as usual, and VMix showed it was streaming (use a Dell 8940 XPS system with NDI for VMix and to stream, and another Dell 8940 XPS system with Propresenter) but received multiple notifications that the streaming had stopped. Stopped the stream on VMix and restarted it. It played/streamed for less than 5 minutes and then stopped again. I was able to record locally and upload the message, but what could have caused this streaming issue?

The only thing out of the normal was McAfee stating it had expired and I didn't want to do any changes until after service. Could THIS have caused the issue?

Please advise.

Most likely cause is an internet issue. Possibly a connection issue or a speed issue.

It's a good idea to do an Internet Speed Test before you start your stream. Pay attention to the Upload speed. Compare that to your Stream Settings for upload. The vMix Stream upload should be set for 50% or less compared to the Upload Speed in your Speed Test.

Ok. Seems to have gone smoothly this past Sunday, but then was told that it wasn't showing on our website (I checked FB, YouTube, and our pilot website and it was working well at all of those site). Thank you.
