Hello,
I am running vMix with several saved preset files.
No issue with the software other than when I close out of one file and open a new file, I get this error:
Capture Device is still in use, close any programs and try again.
StartStopExternal.MM_New
Everything flows in fine on the newly opened file, and works. I just can't enable External Output.
What I do is use External 1 as main output to my SDI output and External 2 as my camera output as a passthrough to TikTok Live Studio.
No idea why "Capture Device" is an error when it's solely on external output this error occurs.

As the message says, you will need to close any programs using the vMix output before changing presets.
This is because the preset may contain changes like a different output resolution, and programs do not support the capture changing resolution on the fly.
