Hi. I'm wanting to know if this is possible. Often times on my live stream, I have background music going in a seamless loop, and right after I finish the intro, the music transitions into the quick intro and then straight into the live podcast, with a remnant of music as I open. The problem i'm having is that my preview/intro is not always the same length. I'd like to be able to loop the background music or alpha-video with audio, and then when I am ready to segue into the logo/opener, I can flag vMix to allow it to no longer loop, but play the remaining video/audio. How on earth do I do this seamlessly? If you are having trouble following me, and your old enough, think of NBC Nightly News back when Tom Brokaw use to do it. The beginning of the live broadcast was background music, after he finished the intro there was trumpets and logo is seen, and back to him again for the program. Go to 40 seconds in this video to see that.

There are functions (shortcuts) to turn loop on and off of an (audio)Input

Set a trigger to cut the "audio". Vmix has tutorials on triggers on YouTube.
Triggers: Triggering is a way to have a title/overlay/audio automatically appear and/or disappear. It can also be used to set up an input to be automatically displayed when another has completed and what type of transition will be used in the process. You can set delays and/or durations up to 30 second. Triggers are used when an input either - Begins a transition (OnTransitionIn) - Begins a transition out (OnTransitionOut) - When a video or slide show completes playback (OnCompletion) allows you to automatically load the input you designate into the “Output” window. - OnOverlayIn and OnOverlayOut can also be used when an Input is used as an Overlay. An unlimited number of tasks can be added, with each task running in the order it appears in the list. - They can be use with a countdown timer input to make multiple switches.
