We've been playing with the idea of changing the participant source instead of adding individual participants in vMix, which would reduce the processing load our devices need. Now that we can change it via companion too, it makes it really easy.

The issue we have is the video feed goes black when the participant source is changed. When using zoom and some other apps, changing the "pin" usually gives us a lower resolution until it stabilize, usually under a second, and not go to black.

Not perfect, but for remote events on webcam, it is good enough. Could vMix do this?
