It’s really helpful for automation to be able to check to see if a Zoom input has a participant assigned to it and who that participant is.

That will allow scripts, like the ones I’ve added to the Scripting For Dummies thread, that take advantage of the "ZoomSelectParticipantByName" to check to make sure that a Zoom input isn’t in use before assigning someone to it, as well as to make sure that specific participant hasn’t already been assigned to an input, without having to maintain their own log, which introduces both overhead and room for error.

Take a look at the script I posted in the Scripting For Dummies thread and you can see how much cleaner it’d be if it could poll the Zoom inputs themselves, rather than a log that it made and maintains in Dynamic Values or a title.
