Hi,
I have to join a zoom meeting. But when i use the zoom Plugin to connect from vMix and paste the invite Link vmix can't connect. Ithink its beacuase the Zoom room is only for authenticated users.
The invite Link looks like this `https://zoom.us/w/1234567890?tk=<user token str>pwd=<abc>`.
Vmix is ignoring the Token and tries to connect with only the password.
Is vMix able to connect to zoom with a token?

Hi,
vMix currently supports only standard Zoom meetings. The URL you have provided appears to be for a Zoom Event which works quite a bit differently and as a result is not supported at this time.
Regards,

Furthermore, in my experience you cannot connect vMix to a meeting hosted by a Zoom room.

Regards,
Martin vMix Hi Martin, it was a normal Zoom Meeting but the host enabled authentication. So that you teh user will have to authenticate himself and gets the invite Link with a token. vMix cannot handle the authentication. https://support.zoom.com...ysparm_article=KB0063837Maybe this can help. https://developers.zoom.us/docs/meeting-sdk/auth/Best regards Michel

In that case, you will need to make sure that Zoom within vMix is first logged into an account/email that has permissions to connect to the meeting. Then when joining in vMix with the Meeting ID and Password, it should work. If not, then you will need to contact us to investigate further: https://www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx

If not, then you will need to contact us to investigate further: https://www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx Hi, I got a Zoom Pro account and spent some time with the account. So, if you plan a meeting in Zoom and tick “required” under “Registration”, you will receive an invite link. If the invited user clicks on this link, they will be taken to a registration page where they enter their name and email. You then get the actual invite link and it has the TOKEN (`https://zoom.us/w/1234567890? tk=<user token str>pwd=<abc>`). Martin, your tip above works, you have to be logged in to vMix in the Zoom Connect Manager with a previously registered user. If you then paste the invite link with the token into Zoom, everything works. Small addendum, if you activate Zoom Group HD on a Zoom Pro Account, you also have to write to Zoom Support first so that 720P is activated for all users. Many thanks for the help.Best regards Michel
