Hi all, for bigger zoom calls will be nice have option like in Zoom select for vmix input not just one specific user but also the ACTIVE SPEAKER to have always speaking person from zoom in one input selected by Zoom. Other zoom sw can do it, so i guess its possible get the info over API.
As it is now, its good for few people interview, where you manually position/switch them all. But imagine Zoom call with 50 participants and you dont know in advance who will turn on camera and start talking
Thnx

I agree this would be super useful! I think this is the only feature that ZoomISO has that stops me from using vMix to manage my Zoom calls..
So, +1 for me on this!
Best,
Ben

See the Active Speaker section at the bottom of this page. https://www.vmix.com/help27/ZoomParticipants.htmlThe performance reasons noted, are due to a substantial delay in Zoom when asking it to request a raw feed of a particular user. In our view this is not responsive enough to handle active speaker scenarios, and we would be curious to hear from anyone who has extensively used this in other apps, whether they think the switch delay is acceptable or not.
