I recently had a demo of Wowza Video's Low latency streaming.
This utilised WebRTC from OBS, to a destination. Giving us less that 1/2 second latency, which is great for events with Live polls or even things like AGM's.
So having the option to output to a webRTC destination would be fab in the future.

Cheers
John

SRT could give you less than 1/2 second latency.

Hi, I'm fully aware how SRT works and its capabilities. I also run a Haivision server myself.
But in this use case, It can't be used. As Wowza just takes SRT and converts it to HLS for its players...So 30 secs delay is still seen.

With using WebRTC to wowza video, Wowza has a WebRTC player you can embed instead.. from encoder to viewer is 1/2 sec or less.

I hope this is a better explanation of what I would like to achieve.
