Hi,
I was electronics audio designer and I enter video world now whith passion.
Glad to join this forum ;)
About instant reply, for SDI 4Kp50, I'm not sure about 2 cams limitations with A/B:
Does it means that you can have 4 cameras on 2 outputs (2A+2B) or 2 cameras on two outputs (1A+1B) ?

Hey, welcome to the adventure :)
The maximum would be two *4k50p or 4k60p cameras.
vMix Replay supports "Eight Channel HD" as in 8x 3G cameras (like 1080p60). 4k50p/4k60p requires 12G, so each one is equivalent to 4x 1080p60 signals. 8 divided by 4 = 2

Thanks for your confirmation.
So two cameras + 2 output channels = a decklink 8K.
I will now go through hardware selection step, but before, I will have a look to virtual sets requirements. Did not found a specific page for virtual sets : do I presume it's the same as instant replay or do I need more muscles ?
If I can free two birds with one key ;)

I actually don't have any experience working with virtual sets, so I'm not sure on that one.
In terms of hardware requirements, please note that vMix in general can utilize GPU rendering (which would handle most things, like virtual sets I assume), but vMix Replay specifically uses CPU for encode/decode of replay footage.

For instant replay, it means hi-speed processor, noted !
So better take 3.0 Ghz requirements as lower speed not boost speed ;)

It's always a good idea to post links to documentation, but ancestors read this before posting :)
Vmix offer many fonctions. I don't search for all uses computer (reference systems). I focus on instant replay: having returns from experienced user saying cpu is sollicited then gpu are more helpfull to define configurations. Within a budget, I can move cursors accordingly.
In the given link, memory requirements reach 16GB. If I increase RAM, will it lead to a noticeable increase in performance?
