Shortcuts Companion Streamdeck + vMix for Intsant Replay

Hello,
For a live production of a football match with two cameras.
I would like to know which shortcuts to use in companion for use a Stream Deck to create an instant replay button which would play live both the angle of camera 1 and then the angle of Camera 2 in the same sequence. What associations of actions must be choose with vMix shortcuts to create a button which generate the Cam1+Cam2 replay(5s) and a button to play this replay live as output. It's for exemple to show the instant replay of a goal.

If anyone can help me that would be great.

Why post this twice in the same forum ?

Checking the shortcut reference guide (helpfiles) will be helpfull to know the various options
Also when one does a google search on "Vmix instant replay" one will be presentent with quite a few videos on the subject to help you along

Sorry, I did'nt see when I post my topic that there is a special topic for Instant Replay.
I have watched all the videos tutorials on the subject of instant replay but none that explains my need. On the interface of Instant Replay of vMix it'easy to play an instant replay with the different angles of cameras in the same sequences (you need juste to tick the cameras) but it's more difficult to associate the good shortcuts on bitfocus Companion to create that with buttons.

Check any of the ReplayPlayxxxx ones that fits your needs

Chek Any of the ReplayCamera ones
There is also Replayselect... before actually executing a replay

As with everything in vMix try,try and try again.
Dont worry about the streamdeck try them as regular keys (keyboard) first.
Multiple shortcuts defined under the same key act as one ( in order)
Streamdeck is basically just another keyboard (with or without companion)

Before automating multitple actions try thm out individually first

Hi friend! The vMix functions which I would recommend for creating a clip as you described, as actions on one Companion button:


  • ReplayMarkInOutLive value=5 (no delay)
  • ReplaySelectedEventCameraOn value=1 (delayed by ~10-15 ms)
  • ReplaySelectedEventCameraOn value=2 (delayed by ~20-25 ms)


To play that new clip out, you have a few options, such as ReplayPlayLastEventToOutput (if you are pressing it shortly after creating the clip you want to play out).

If you need any general help with Companion buttons for vMix Replay, I have an entire Companion config template for vMix Replay which you use and adapt for your own needs. That also includes a tutorial video on YouTube showing how to use the Companion config and how to adapt it for your own needs.
