Any reason one can not select 30p or 60P framerates for a new HD project instead of 25/50 (preset) ?

is this based on national settings of vMix system?

Am aware i can change it in the settings

I'm assuming it's not a bug because it's was that way in ver 26 and earlier.

Hi,

It's a choice we have made due to how many cameras misreport their frame rates.
For example broadcast cameras which report 60i or 60p in their settings are actually in reality 59.94i/59.94p.
Same applies to 30p which is usually 29.97p.

The exception to this is some Chinese branded PTZ cameras which never properly supported "fractional" frame rates.

Users can of course go to Settings and change the Master Frame Rate manually, but we want to try where possible to steer people towards selecting
the correct frame rate, and that is usually 29.97p/59.94p

Regards,

Martin
