Hi,
I have a Question, is there a possibility to switch a zoom input to Zoom Gallery View or active speaker. Or will it be implemented in the future?
Best regards
Michel

This won't be possible sorry. vMix only has access to "recording" feeds of each participant individually. It does not have access to a gallery view etc, and you will need to build your own layouts using vMix. (Or go back to old screen capture if you need an automatically adjusting layout)

Seems like gallery mode could be recreated in vMix as pre-built mode... but that said, can the currently speaking person information at least be exposed as a trigger or something like that so that we can build said automatic layouts? One "special" thing about gallery mode is that it brings the current speaker to the top left, in the same way it brings active speaker to the forefront in active speaker mode. Is it possible to get a feed of who is currently considered the active speaker without major surgery on the vMix side?

You could establish something similar to that using an already existing trigger type, "OnAudioMeter". That's the same concept as what Zoom uses to dictate the 'Active Speaker'. It gets a bit rough when several people talk simultaneously, but then that comes down to telling your speakers what the best etiquette is (i.e. remaining on mute unless talking, let someone finish before you start, etc)
