Running vMix Pro with a Stream Deck XL, plugged in via USB. Want to add a Stream Deck Mini for additional control so we would have two Stream Deck’s running at the same time, but with different shortcuts loaded on each one. Any “tricks” or settings that would need to be added/adjusted to use more than one Stream Deck controller with a single vMix? Or just simply plug in the second controller into the computer via USB?

StreamDeck is handled using MIDI addresses. Anytime you install a MIDI device the system assigns a MIDI address to the unit. If you install more than one StreamDeck panel they will have different MIDI addresses so you can assign proper action to every button.

Consider that if you need to move vMix installation to a different computer , MIDI address might change and shortcuts might be non working until you reconfigure the same scenario.

You can definitely run 2 streamdecks on the same computer.
You can also run 1 streamdeck each on 2 separate computers, but have a button on the streamdeck control both computers.
We did this when setting up a slightly intricate replay system on the second computer, which was in tyrn feeding it’s signal to computer 1 using NDI.

I strongly recommend to use Companion when using Streamdecks.

Thanks to all for the info. Yes, it was as simple as just plugging in the second Stream Deck via USB into the computer. The second Stream Deck was recognized immediately and I was able to program shortcuts to either of the two units. I didn’t know if it was this simple.
