Not a bug, but http://www.vmix.com.au/help/ redirects to /help12 not /help13. 13 looks great! Thanks for all of your staff's hard work! ---landon

One change from 13 preview to 13 I noticed is the LOWER resolution on all the items of the screen: This is a 1080p and it seems like a 480p. On the FullScreen 1 with the Multiview... If it is not a bug... I would stay with the 13 preview.

Check your Output Size in settings. It looks like it is set to 720x480 or something similar. Note, it may have changed when upgrading from the Preview.

I seem to notice today while setting up my vMix preset an undesirable behavior with audio files.
To reproduce: 1. Load an audio file as an input (I have a WAV) 2. Play some of the file 3. Pause it 4. Click Restart button 5. Click Play again 6. You may hear vMix spitting out a half second of audio at the position the playhead was before beginning the audio playback at 0. This leads to a quick jolt of sound that is undesirable.
I do not observe this in vMix 12.0.0.131.
If you cannot reproduce, please let me know and I will make a demonstration video and upload to YouTube.
Thank you!

Hello Marting, The Second External Output is no more existing on the 13.0.0.131 version to dedicate another decklink output for it. Please look into this.

GBIM Make sure you have downloaded the latest 13.0.0.141 and check you have the 4K (or HD Pro) license installed as this is needed for the second external output. You can check this under the About tab in vMix. If it doesn't say 4K (or HD Pro) you will need to find your key and apply it again. Regards, Martin vMix

I cannot change because I'm using the SD version. The problem Is that I don't need a higher resolution for Output but I need for Multiview... And the 13 preview version was perfect.

Sounds like you may have been using a Trial key or something else in the preview version as I have done a test on both and when using an SD key you will only be able to view the MultiView at a maximum resolution of 768x576

Please install the preview again and check the MultiView, then report the Output Size you have set in Settings. The MultiView resolution is determined by "Output Size" which is a maximum of 768x576 in Basic.

Thank you! Yes I can confirm lbgaus is correct I followed his directions to reproduce and I got the same effect and that was playing a MP3 file, this did not happen in earlier versions. I am using vMix HD 13.0.0.141 the $349 AUD version. My PC has a i7 processor with 16GB RAM.

This man Martin is just the Best... Saw him on Studiotech this week....even though he looked a bit sleepy, he, as always represented vMix to the highest....He seems to always try to please his clients, and that puts him so far above the others........keep the great work up Martin, and look for someone to build an Hardware switcher for vMix....or even a software one....still pleading...Still miss my switcher.......but my partner seems to handle himself ok....

Hi Martin,
Two more bugs to report to you...
Bug#1 1. Add a recorded file as an input to vMix 2. Turn the audio for that input off by clicking the Audio button 3. Save preset 4. Close vMix 5. Open the vMix preset file 6. Push play on the input, you will hear sound even though the button is disabled
Click the Audio button on, then off again, fixes the problem. It appears the button state is loaded correctly but the actual sound mute action is not taken when a preset is opened.
Bug#2 1. Add a recorded file as an input to vMix 2. Drag the playhead before the end of the file, right click, and Mark Out 3. Turn Loop on 4. Play the input, it will not loop
Sorry to pile on, thanks for looking into these!

lbgaus,
I'm not seeing either of those bugs in .142.
For #1, if you have the input set to "Automatically mix audio" and you load it from a preset that only has one input, it will have to place it in the Output and as a result turn the audio back on. When I test this the Audio button turns green as expected.
For #2, I tried a .MOV and a .MP4 set the mark out near the end, enabled loop and clicked play and it went to the beginning again as expected.

Hi Martin,
For #1, I know I gave an example that was leading you to believe it was a project with one input, but I discovered this while working on a project with several. I will further attempt to diagnose, and probably post a screen capture video to show you what I am seeing.
For #2, I definitely am not seeing that. I will send you a video on it shortly.
Additionally, today while working on our upgraded vMix 13 system for the first time, I was having really bad luck with it's external output to the DeckLink Mini Monitor card I have inside. It was throwing out various mixtures of "renderer dropped" frames to the external only (as indicated by the Statistics window) in addition to the audio totally cutting out after a few minutes of the external output being enabled. Not a symptom of overloaded GPU or GPU which would lag the entire vMix system, it was rendering on screen and recording to disk just fine. Don't have much useful info for you right now, but I will try to help sort this out with you once this crazy weekend is over.
Thanks! Landon

[EDIT, image removedAs you can see in the image below] I have been extremely unbusy with some extra ordinary matters for a few weeks. But now I am slowly coming back to a working mode. In that sense I am really looking forward to check out all new features and experiment with some new hardware I happened to stumble upon ;) For those of you who missed it, Martin did an excellent release presentation (as usual) of vMix v13 in the most recent issue of Studiotech.tv. While the whole show is interesting per se, Martin enters around 20 minutes into the show. If you check out the " raw version" you can see some additional Q&A regarding v13 in the ending "post show" part.
