I'm trying to fault find some problems where vMix doesn't start or stop recording when told to via its API, but have hit a brick wall. I can't tell if it's the control software not sending the message to the API quickly enough, or if vMix isn't responding to that command quickly enough.
Does vMix create any diagnostic log files that I can look back at, to see if I can figure out what it thought it should have been doing, or see if there are any errors preventing things from working?
I've found the log files in the user's documents folder showing some very brief information each time vMix is launched, but was hoping for something that kept a record of what vMix was doing.
Thanks
RadioAl

RadioAl What is your command given ? WHy would you mention repsonse time ? I'm not sure I understand, sorry. I'm trying to find out if vMix is being told to start/stop recording and it's not able to complete the command for 10s for some reason, or if there's a delay in sending the command from an external app via the API. I'm looking to see if there are any logs within vMix so I can try to narrow the problem down a little further, that's all. Thanks
