Give the guys a break. ;-) better solid than a multitude of preventable bugs (complaints)!

Betas will never be solid, thats the whole point of them. They are to get the bugs out.
Sorry you are not as hyped to test all the new things that some of us are. The new features are going to be a BIG welcome for me and my streaming company.

Not trying to rush them, just post to get people talking about it talk about the upcoming features they are looking forward to the most, what they plan to do with some of the new features and so on. Think you might have read into my post a little wrong.

As of the Fun Time Live Show from IBC~2 weeks ago, they weren’t sure how Zoom integration would be implemented across the various versions, nor did they have a clear idea on when Zoom would approve the integration.
I feel like “close to shipping” is extremely optimistic.
They generally seem to aim to release the Beta by the end of the year and the official release by the end of Q1 or early Q2.
But they also don’t usually have to get their biggest new feature approved by a third party who operates on their own timetable.

I dont use zoom a lot so I am not sure how this would work, is it going to replace the vMix call or be an added feature? From what I have heard zoom calls have awful sound quality. If this makes it in, does anyone plan to use it vs the vMix call?

I would argue zoom is industry standard as far as getting callers who dont have access to a studio into a meeting. Zoom Audio has had the ability to do 48khz "original sound" for years, pre pandemic. It's not replacing vmix call though. They have different purposes I would say.

Very excited. The Zoom integration was unexpected, and not our key focus, AV1 encoding is. Been testing software for 30 years, pretty simple to run multiple versions, I would be thrilled to help alpha or beta test 27 NOW! We will keep 26 for production, generally never switching until a new release has 3 months of all of us beating it up in the real world! We just want to help them make 27 perfect, this is a major launch, and I used to expand my beta test group for such important builds.

AV1 is what I am most focused on as well. 4K streaming 51,000 bitrate is doable with gig up internet, but I have tested with OBS with 20,000 bitrate and it looks as good if not better. Freeing up that much internet will be great.
