We have been working hard to increase our audio quality to our output file which is now AVI to preserve our sound. We still have an issue in that our output sound in the AVI file written is not the save as the sound in the LIVE stream.

We have all vMix dynamics turned off, because our sound is mastered before it goes into vmix and the live sound is wonderful, however the sound written to the AVI file (audio is an embedded WAV) is not as good as the live sound. The signals (IN vs OUT) also do not match.

How can we stop Vmix from altering our sound in the written output file?

I am running version 23 (upgrade will happen this week)
Windows 10 Pro

In what way is the sound different in the AVI file? Are you able to quantify the difference?
