I had my first crash with vMix 25 (latest update). Approximately 10 minutes after starting a live stream, my 3 monitors went black and came back on.
Panel Builder on screen 2 was moved to my main screen, and vMix was closed and automatically restarted. I had to manually restart the stream. Could this be a conflict between the graphics card and vMix? And how can vMix spontaneously restart?
The rest of the broadcast, everything worked fine. When I shut down the PC later, I noticed that there was a Windows update ready to be installed, could that also be a cause?
edit: I have send an error report to vMix support

If the screens turn off, it most likely means that the video card driver crashed. I had a similar problem and it was solved by windows setings switching off "hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling" Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics Settings. https://devblogs.microso...elerated-gpu-scheduling/

Here is vmix's response:
Thanks for the enquiry. From your support report, there doesn't appear to be any errors relating to vMix, however there are multiple errors in your application logs, indicating the "vMix Panel Builder" application is crashing constantly which is likely affecting vMix.
I would recommend try to update/reinstall the vMix Panel Builder software and see if the issue persists.
So I will update Panel Builder. I've never noticed anything strange about Panel Builder, but anything can happen in the background of course.
edit:
vMix support found also this:
There are some serious GPU related errors on the 23rd at 9:29 AM: D3DERR_DEVICEREMOVED: Hardware device was removed (-2005530512) (for which we would recommend updating and/or reinstalling the drivers to see if it helps to prevent the issue from happening again)

In Add/remove Programs, I noticed that Windows Update updated my Nvidia driver to version 31.0.15.3179 (25/04/2023) on the day of the crash.
Although I only allowed the updates to be installed after the broadcast, it's possible that Windows did something ahead of time.
