We have an ongoing issue with an NDI audio input that breaks down for about 5 to 8 minutes and then resolves itself and we cannot get a handle on why. It sounds like the voice turns "robotic" and I suspect it is some kind of jitter. The audio is coming from a MAC running prologic which is giving us the output. The effect is not heard on the mac output. The computers are connected by Gbit wired connections. I have run all the updates I can think of for os, app, and ndi. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have a copy of the offending audio if listening to it is of any help. Thanks in Advance. Todd.

An issue that comes out of the blue and vanishes again. It would be interesting to see where this happens. You said that the local machine (source) is fine. I guess you have checked the NDI with Studio Monitor. Can you do the same on the far end, the receiving side. If Studio Monitor has an issue you kow at least where to look at. Everything in between. One thing to try out is to set the MTU from 1500 to 1492 or even a bit lower maybe 1480 and see if the problem persists.

I will try dropping the MTU and see what happens and then report back.
