Since there is no stop shortcut, I'm triggering VMix to pause from my music program Cantabile. When I stop Cantabile it pauses VMix just fine, but I want the input to reset at the same time like Cantabile does. I tried the advanced tab as well as setting two shortcuts, Pause and Reset, to the same incoming Stop midi CC from Cantabile. It works when I stop up to a point but towards the end it resets but then skips ahead and lands there.
Problem 2 is that when the video is over I have it set to go automatically to the next video, but the previous video does not reset to the beginning.
Any help on either one of these would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.Use restart to make the video go to zero point again, after it plays. Reset is not doing this thing, you want

Ah yes, I thought restart would do just that and I didn’t want it to restart just reset. Anyway that works. I also had to make 3 separate MIDI commands from my music program. One for pause. Another one for restart on stop. And one for restart when the song is over. Thanks Nikosman88.

You can also put triggers. On completion or ontransitionout to restart the video without the need to do it manually. In the input video, you can make the trigger to restart the same input video. You can also put a small delay on trigger

Yes thanks, I used a trigger for transitionOut: reset input, and that works. The remaining problem I have is that when transitioning from 1 video to the next I see the beginning of that video for a second before it transitions to the next. The cause seems to be from a cc message from controller to restart VMix on stop (pause) in the middle of the video. When I stop my controller (Cantabile) I want VMix to stop (pause) then restart like Cantabile does. I have a cc message to pause and a cc message to restart, with a delay. When I turn off the cc message to restart, it transitions fine, but when it's on, it goes back to beginning before it goes to next video. Is there any way to get vmix to pause then restart when I press stop in the middle of the song somewhere. There are no triggers for that.
Thanks for the help.

If I understand it correctly, in the input settings just set it to "Automatically restart on transition", and I think you don't need additional triggers either way.
