Hello,

I have an audio input that is coming in from a PC through HDMI via a Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder Capture Card. Intermittently this input will develop heavy static. The audio from the PC is fine if played through speakers. We have tried multiple computers with the same effect, also used different HDMI cables. The static is only on this one input. All other audio inputs (NDI, HDMI) are fine.

The only solution is to close the input and then add it again. This instantly fixes the problem, which I am glad that it is an easy fix, but when someone is doing an hour long presentation from their computer that has videos intermixed and the problem crops up half way or a quarter of the way through or sometimes it just starts that way, the issues is frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated.

Computer Specs:
vMix 26.0.0.38 x64
Windows 11
CPU: Intel i9 12900 @3.2ghz
64GB Ram
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX3060 12GB

Thank you!

Greetings rbsdapateam,
We have just upgraded to the latest vMix (26) using a Windows 11 computer. We are having the same issue with our audio output. Did you ever get your issue resolved?
And if so, what was it you did that fixed the audio out?

Thanks,
Don
