Is it possible to have an overlay in the input windows
which indicates if and which triggers are activated?

This would be very helpful to have a quick overview if a trigger is in the input (e.g. at end of video cut to preview) without clicking the settings of the input and see if its set.

Yes in the form of a layer/multiview not an overlay as such

The status of the triggers can be found in the XML presetfile (Last.vMix) under the tag disabled (true or false)
Make sript reading those states , but you wil have to creat some form of title to put the results in that you can layer in your input. that layer will also be visible when you make that input in output so might want to add in your script to deactivate that layer then

- WOuld have to open settings anyway to change it
- imo not a good idea changing triggers during a production

Thank you that sounds very helpful.
The main reason for this visual indicators is that we know if we have e.g. 10 video inserts what happens when they are finished without opening every one and checking.
Especial when you work with a team and multiple operators this is a must.
In Tricaster you know exactly what happens next in the DDR (while i like the per Input triggers in VMix more useful).

Unfortunately i'm not into scripting.
But will have a try.

Maybe it's possible to change the title of the input - put some text before the input titel. This would prevent to have to delete the Multilayer before switching to Program.

Soemthing like:

"Opening Trailer"
change to

"T-CutP - Opening Trailer" (Cut to Preview after Transition)
or some character symbols
"▚ - Opening Trailer"

What would be the best way to trigger the script?
Manually with a shortcut
or is it possible to run the script automatically after changing the trigger settings?

Thsi would be a very complex script taking care af all the exceptions.
Putting it in the name: what if there are more than one trigger ?

IMO a input (Title) or a datasource that displays in text thats shows all the inputs(by number or name) and their triggers populate by a continuous running script poling for that data

KISS especially working with multiple operators
