I've been bringing in Local Desktop Captures of HP 14" monitors that are connected to my vMix laptops for years without issue.

Since I've upgraded to Windows 11, the monitors (HP V14 displays) that use DisplayLink technology still connect to the laptop and still display on them whatever I want to display, however, when I try to bring what's displayed on them into vMix as a local desktop capture, I only get a black screen. I've updated my driver for the display and I've replicated this on two different HP Omen laptops with two separate V14 displays, both of which use DisplayLink technnology.

When I use the same display on a Windows 10 HP Omen laptop, I am able to bring in the local desktop capture without issue.

Also, for comaparison, when I use other HP 14" displays that use DisplayPort Alt Mode (HP S14 displays), I have no problem bringing in the desktop capture into vMix (on Windows 10 or Windows 11).

Windows 11 is up to date on both laptops and drivers are up to date. Using vMix 26 on all laptops.

I need to be able to use both models of the displays because I sometimes connect to Zoom on the same laptop as vMix and bring in two remote guests and pin them to each of the two displays and then bring them into vMix. The S14 connects to the DisplayPort Alt technology via the Thunderbolt port on the laptop so I can only connect one of those to the laptop, and the other connects to the DisplayLink technology using USB 3.0 connector.

Also, the same is true when I'm trying to bring in the V14 (Displaylink) monitor as an NDI source on another computer. It shows up as a black screen in vMix. So whether a local desktop capture or NDI capture, the same result.

My current workaround is to host vMix on the v14 (DisplayLink) display and then pin one Zoom guest to the built-in laptop display and pin the other guest to the S14 (DisplayPort Alt Mode display) and then I'm able to bring them both into vMix, but the 14" display is a little small for interfacing with vMix.

Suggestions on possible solutions to be able to get the V14 (Displaylink Display) to come into vMix as it did previously? Thanks.
